TAKE ME HOME, MY FOULEST DEAR

Temperance Arcana’s Grace.

PERSONA

A Persona is the manifestation of a person's psyche hidden within them. Also known as a person's "mask" or "other self", Personas originated from the Sea of Souls and take the form of an archetypal figure depending on the wielder's personality, derived from archetypes within human consciousness not limited to mythological figures. Each Persona are represented by an Arcana that befits its motif. It is with their Personas a person can defend themselves against demons or Shadows. If a person finds the resolve to become stronger, their Persona will evolve into a stronger form.

Phoenix, Avian of Grand Inferno - a mythical sacred creature of beautiful gold, blue, && red plumage which originated in the subcontinent of India in ancient mythologies mentioned in the Egyptian && later the Phoenician and the Greek Mythology. It was said that its tears were capable of healing, had great physical endurance, supreme control over fire, && nigh-infinite wisdom.Manifested from the psyche of Yoko Nayaka, its form may vary depending on its portrayal by the masses, but being a mashup of several depictions alongside the influence of his Arcana allows the usage of Fire, Wind, Ash, && Holy element spells. Though, these aren’t his only.
Because of this, Nayaka intends to use his Persona at its possible zenith. His hidden potential is still waiting to be unearthed through the accumulation of bonds && constant studying of the late Quinn's cognitive journal.
Yoko is naturally an empty-handed martial artist, using a whole mixed bag of fighting styles while his Persona acts as an extension of himself by using ranged spells and a handful of physical strikes. Thus, being his own tag-team partner.

Yoko Nayaka (or TASU-492), was created by a team of scientists that branched off from the Kirijo Science Group as a part of their experiment. While he wasn’t the first of machines to be constructed, some of the combat functionalities were the original blueprints that were implemented to future bots. Before being an Anti-Shadow Suppression Weapon, he was purposed for a surveillance machine, hence the TV for ahead. A man by the name of Shuji Ikutsuki had other plans for the robot before forcing the machine to fight shadows on his behalf. After so much development has passed, Nayaka was granted the Plume of Dusk for the sake of developing a Persona of his own, && was immediately thrown into the deepest pits of the cognitive world after a disagreement with how the world should proceed. One who thinks some aspects of the world should be destroyed, while one wants annihilation of everything.———————————————After said scientist’s death, Nayaka was indefinitely stuck in the packed floors of random dimensions && palaces, fighting Shadows with each && every inch of his life far before his Persona could awaken. During this time, he was met by a sentient Shadow by the name of Quinn — a woman adorn in an all-white biker jumpsuit with black gloves && shoes. Her true face was shielded by a biker’s helmet for removing would cause any Shadow to passively panic && be blinded with madness. Despite having a sense of true self, her Persona was locked within her psyche as the duo began to bond. Throughout it all, Quinn took Yoko as a mentor would for a student. From refining his brawling techniques into something more coherent, to explaining the overall physiology of Shadows && their capabilities. She mentioned how a Persona could be tamed like how a Shadow can be as long as it remains under control of the mind that created it.It all fell down the exact moment a random Shadow known as the ‘Great Lich’ encountered the duo. Adorned in gold horns && torn clothing, the advisory in question aimed to kill anyone within the cognitive world to convert them as his ashy undead soldier. Quinn wasn’t having it until they were all ambushed, leaving Yoko && her to fend off against these threats. Unfortunately, the controlled Shadows & the amp-up undead soldiers were enough to overpower them. To add more to it all, a massive portal to the real world was being ripped open. Quinn made a quick decision that’ll ensure that the secrets doesn’t get stolen by the wrong palms; she threw their journal to Yoko && told them to flee away as far as possible despite his protest against it.Here, it would be the first && last time he seen her true face.As Quinn told her student to flee, she stayed behind to keep the assailants from unleashing upon whatever area was going to be conquered. Once had escaped after battling through, Nayaka was immediately held captive by the remaining scientists part of Ikutsuki’s tutelage within a laboratory hidden in the Philippines —&& effectively shut off due to being labeled a loose cannon. While in this state, he had no memories of what happened during, but let it be known that experiments were done on his physiology without proper consent.———————————————Before he could finally awaken to escape, he was accidentally dropped into world of human consciousness once again through a window without a proper escape. This time, he went to search for Quinn. What remained of her was a biker helmet alongside the markings made in the sand from her final stands against the Great Lich. As the unit mourned in silence, he knew that suppressing who he was as a construct with a fully-developed personality won’t help him reach absolute equilibrium. Now, he had to face his TRUE SELF if he wanted to survive. In doing so, he awakened the mythical bird of legends to get him through this gauntlet by literally ripping his chest plate open, letting the light burst out to assist him in the form the Immortal Phoenix.&& so, the child of sunlight searched his way out of this abyss of primordial information and went along the highway…

Quinn’s Notebook

A fallen mentor’s notebook on the cognitive body being nothing more than anthropomorphized forms of various concepts, stories && natural phenomena formed by the thoughts && beliefs of humans. All that remains of her is the knowledge she passed onto Yoko. No status alteration.
